UGH, job!
Dear Diary,
Today marks the 8th day since I've been drug tested, and I'm still waiting. For an update, last week at work (last Monday to be exact) I passed out on the job. Not like fall asleep, like PASS OUT pass out.
I did what any person would do, I went to the nurse's station, and told them what happened. They took my vitals and blood sugar, and then they wanted me to take a drug test.
This was a bad idea.
So... I might have a little marijuana in my system. I have a medical card, and even my therapist recommended I get one for my depression and anxiety. But, since I work in a hospital setting, that might not matter.
I took the drug test, they sent it to the lab, and now I am anxiously waiting for the results to come back. I'm scared I might be fired. There could be many factors that could play into me not being fired. I do my job, and do it with a smile on my face. And also, we are severely understaffed.
UGH!
The waiting game sucks, but I remain to have hope.
Stay weird,
Manic

Dear Diary,
I am currently sitting in my bed, contemplating my dating life. Long story short, I downloaded a dating app on my phone in hopes of making connections with people (bad idea already).
About a week ago, I matched with this guy who lived about an hour away from me, and after about a week of talking, we decided to meet up. Yesterday, he arrived at my apartment, and everything was fine so far. He gave me a flower (a green flag in my book), and we seemed to have so much in common. We decided to put on a movie and things escalated from there. He ended up staying the night.
I thought everything was going good so far. He was cute, funny, the sex was good. But it all started to go downhill. One of my biggest red flags in a person is when they say slurs, especially when they do NOT have the privilege to say so.
This man, a white guy btw, said the n word. I have never felt so turned off, and absolutely disgusted, in a long time. It was so odd, because he considered himself "progressive" (his words, not mine).
*Sigh*
It's very upsetting. I have been single for a while, so I thought that it would be nice to put myself out there and meet some people, yk? I may be feeling a little dramatic, but it makes me wonder...
Am I done dating men?!
Stay weird,
Manic
